I've followed the PTN "Poker Training Network" Business for 4 months and have seen it grown from being in only two states ( FL and TX ) to over a dozen. As the time passes, I realize this is the begining of a very powerful opportunity to free myself from money worries and make a better life for myself and my loved ones.

Very soon there will be a Facebook App for the Poker Training Network.  There are about 450 million people on Facebook, this is huge, right now there are about 40 million people playing poker on Facebook. How much money did Zaynga poker make? Wouldn't YOU want a small piece of that!

Once the free poker room opens, there will be an opportunity for people with a Red Rounder and higher status to share in the revenue from the game room. I think it will be called "The All In Poker Room". As I understand it, this should be more professional looking and carry your stats, tell you what to correct call may have been AND what lessons to review so you won't make the same mistake again. (Edit later for Poker Room)

This blog is speaking mostly about the business side of PTN.  There is also the Learning side and when you think of it two different types of people may be drawn to PTN. A  multi level marketer, and a poker player. The Poker playing side of this business will be  discussed later. The MLM'er can see poker is the most watched sport on ESPN. The MLMer can see poker is EVERYWHERE. Poker is on TV almost 24 hours and for sure it's on all Seven Days of the week.  Where have you gone to a business presentation / opportunity meeting and when it was done a poker game broke out! Most business people play Poker and Golf to "get away" from the stress of the job, here you are still doing the same thing with the potential to make a passive income while playing a card game. Multi level marketing may not be for everyone but,  this is how this company is advertising.

Good Luck to you all!

Jam packed in the that place last night for the Grand Opening. 4 Pool tables twenty something TV's. Lots of staff and nice bar. It's interesting what some regulars can do. Sometimes you hear it behind the bar " If I owned this place, this is what I'd do" or "We should open our own bar" Seems like that's just what happened, here.

As of this moment , I'm pressed real hard for work, things are really tough right now. Inviting people to come to the PTN poker games is easy.  This is not a get rich quick deal, everything takes a little time. quality not quantity is needed here.

So if you are going to play Poker or go to a casino, you just may win money and it might be a lot of money. Claiming that money needs to reported to the IRS. I'm not a CPA, so get your own information, from your tax consultant.

The idea is for a Professional Poker Player  to be able to deduct the cost of fees to play poker and write off cost, as if an expense in business.

"The cost of doing business"

When you treat  pokeras a  business the income and expense should be shown to the IRS for tax purposes. Travel, enrty fee and other expense, could be a write off.

Question is :

"How Do I Get A TIN?"

You will need to complete Form SS-5, Application for a Social Security Card (PDF). You also must submit evidence of your identity, age, and U.S. citizenship or lawful alien status. For more information please see the Social Security web site.

Form SS-5 is also available by calling 1-800-772-1213 or visiting your local Social Security office. These services are free.

The above question is from the SS site.

There are times when you doubt youself and your ability to push on and  keep up the faith. People will come and go in you lives but you will always remember the ones that deal with you that are truthful and honest. That being said I belive but I'm just getting a little on the edge.

PTN Poker training is picking up speed!

OK, still waiting for information on work. Should be able work soon. The Census job will be interesting if I get the position.

It's important that you give the correct info to the census, don't worry about the privacy issue cause all the info is release after 70 years or so long after we're gone. The census helps the cities we live in get funding for the things our taxes pay for.

So I've be trying to promote my PTN Business, which I really look as a business, in fact I'd love to know what the tax implications would be to, going to a tounament and having expenses written off. A CPA out there will see this or be located and questions will be ask and answers known.

I'm going to test a link though google sites to if this working correct.   . . . .   Please stand by . . . . .
