I used to sometimes wear a pair of sunglasses on my head ( or have them in my shirt pocket) while I went out drinking or at the least my girlfriend had them in her purse. Get ask about them from someone else and explain if you are hanging out with us you'll see. Those poor souls reacting to the sunlight once we were all done and ready to go home like seeing vampires react to the sunlight once we step outside to go (and in some cases to the next spot or breakfast) was funny and sometimes I said "Welcome to the darkside"!

Recently by accident I went to the darkside while having a one-sided conversation with an ex, at closing time - I needed to get the hell out of the bar or get thrown out. See the only other person around was good customer. The ex was behind the bar working trying to close up and I'm for whatever reason trying to a talk about whatever ex's talk about when they are ex's. Note to reader nothing in this conversation was related to wanting to get back with the ex, just probaly unfulfilled promises of an agreement , and shit that still isn't going to make a difference even now.

So the good customer understands and see what's going on and intervenes to get me out of the bar  with a promise of another drink / with a ride, no driving for me. Alright another drink and no driving, I've forgotten the ex and ready to roll. I said to the customer are you ready to go to the darkside? We end up at the local place where the bar is open pretty much 24/7 except for the cleaning ( casino bar). So what ensuse is a fine old memory of days past whinicing at the sun peaking up over the horizon as it's a new day and dropping a pair of sunglasses on. Welcome to the darkside.

I saw that customer  recently and we discussed the possibility of going out for another drink, he ask is it going to the darkside even if you planned it? Simple answer is,"Yes it is"
