Sometimes an event hits you like a ton of bricks and other times it's like a set of rolling waves getting stronger, pushing til they knock you off your feet. As usual going about the the daily and not daily things pre- occupying my life, I'm struck with the news of a force in my life has passed on. I now stop and pause to reflect on what this person meant to me and how much I will miss the man and his teachings / lectures. I'll miss my Uncle, for many reasons, but mostly just because he was a rock and is no longer in my life.
